Skill Points calculated in eTools properly?

Howdy everyone. I ned a little help here.

I tried creating a PC in eTools and cant seem to get eTools to calculate the skill points properly. It appears to not be using the Int modifier when calculating the points.

Heres what I entered:

Str 13, Dex 11, Con 12, Int 17, Wis 5, Cha 18 Gnome Neutral

Level Class CG Skill Pts eTools Skill Pts
1 Bard 28 16
2 Rogue 28/11 16/8
3 Bard 35/11 20/8
4 Bard 42/11 24/8

Skill points shown as 28/11 are Bard Skills/Rogue Skills

I showed the old Character Generators (CG) skills point calculations also. The CG calcs match what the PHB says.

I tried a Level one Rogue and recevied only 32 skill points using the same Int (17). By the PHB I should have gotten 44.

Any ideas how I can get eTools to calculate the skill points properly?

Thanks,
Gimril

Yes, you have to make certain that you are creating a new PC (the very first horned-helmet logo on the left) instead of an NPC (the partial horned-helmet logo further to the right). With an NPC it pre-assigns some of the skill points leaving only some of them for you.

This is unfortunately a common mistake, easily made due to a cryptic interface.

You must enter the values for your stats correctly to get the correct skill points. Which method was used to get the 17 INT? If you adjusted the INT score in the "User" column, it does't give what it should for skill points. If you rolled the 17 and originally assigned it to INT, or used the "User Entry" method and assigned the points in the "Add" column, it should work. Don't ask what the "User" column is good for other than confusing everyone.
