SPRINGFIELD, VA—In an effort to help provide relief
for victims of Hurricane Katrina, Skirmisher
Publishing LLC is auctioning a collectible, signed set
of all of their currently available books, with 100%
of the proceeds to benefit the American Red Cross.
This auction is being administered on eBay and can be
viewed at EBAY
"We believe it is important for members of the gaming
community to be good citizens and to come forward at a
time like this to help those whose lives have been
overturned by this tragedy," said Michael J.
Varhola, founder of Skirmisher Publishing LLC and head
of the Skirmisher Game Development Group. "If this
small effort of ours can make anyone's life a little
better, then it is the very least we can do."
The generous winner of this auction will receive
signed copies of the following d20/Dungeons & Dragons
roleplaying game books, along with other items of
interest. These include:
* Signed copies of four currently available books,
"Warriors," "Tests of Skill," "Nuisances," and
"Experts v.3.5."
* A signed copy of the original "Experts,"
Skirmisher's first book, which is currently out of
print and unavailable to the general public!
* A pre-production proof of "Tests of Skill," signed
and personalized by both authors.
* A copy of H.G. Wells' "Little Wars," signed by the
publisher and with a foreword by D&D creator Gary
Gygax.
Books will also be personalized upon request, thanking
the winners for their humanitarian contributions to
relief of victims for Hurricane Katrina and their
support of the good works of the American Red Cross.
