Thank you! Yeah, it was so unexpected for me. He waited just long enough it had completely slipped off my radar and I had a 'Oh man..' moment when he told me who was talking to Mirielle.
Honestly, it's pretty rare for me to get disconnected from a character, but this is going to be a year long wait or so. Because of that we discussed what we would do if I couldn't get back in the right head space for these four and he suggested playing another pirate crew who spotted their ship and decided to take it. More than likely I'll pick up these gals though. Especially with all the written up story to look back on to help remind me of their 'feel'.

On the previous post I forgot to mention, I forced myself to incorporate the module's existing poem of clues for where the treasure was into Dolce's song about them finding it. Since I did list the poem in a previous post, I imagine some picked up on that, but just for reference, here's the poem from the module again:

Tsadok was a fun encounter. The tests ended up being pretty easy, especially the first one since Nasha is such a good climber.
When it came to the card game this is something that would honestly have been super boring with a group. It mostly involves a single player and I have read that lots of groups got frustrated with it. I ended up using the 3.0 rules for alcohol here since I hate the rules in PF2 and PF1 for that matter.
Overall I actually really enjoyed the mechanics for the card game, and it is something I will likely use in the future at least in my solo games with my wife. I think you could do a full group game but at that point I almost feel you should just play Three Dragon Ante and implement rules that let you “cheat” using your skills in the game. At least if you are going to have cheating play a role.
I was happy that I actually had a Marsh Giant miniature, I have used him for lots of things over the years but never for what he actually was.
I decided on a whim to have Mirielle meet up with her family here or at least someone from her old life. She is getting famous enough that her old life will catch up with her. I never got around to it before the game paused but I had plans involving the Dominator and some captain that Mirielle knew before she became a pirate that would be hunting her down to bring her back home.
I guess we will see if that comes to fruition some day!
