[SL] Creature Collection Open Call Monster Idea

OK. So like everybody I'm slowly cranking through my monster-ideas for stuff that fits what I thnk S&S might be looking for. There's one monster idea I've been guarding strongly in my dark, beating, little heart.
Or at least I was....

I've come to a realization (well two really):
1. My ideas for it suck.
(2. Everybody and Nightfall's dog has probably already thought of it)

Its half-Slitherin. They definitely exist, they're probably common and I can't come up with a single interesting idea to even propose.
My current game has a bunch of half-derro half-slitherin (Red Witch)running around. Lacking any cool or useful ideas I just made it like this:

TEMPLATE
can be applied to any humanoid or monsterous humanoid
Half-slitherin
+2Con, +2 Dex, +4 Cha, lowlight, +1 natural armor +4 vs disease
Feats: Scion of the Serpent, Spell casting protegy, favored class sorc.

Basically I wound up making them into little sorcerous powerhouses to represent mormo's pleaure with crossbreeding.

But all in all its a pretty lame incarnation. Ideally something like this would have appeared in Warrens but it didn't (though there was some good stuff in there, love rat golems).

I'm sure that somebody out there is gamer enough to suceed where I've failed and come up with a pretty bad-ass idea; even if you just keep it to yourself (and send it the S&S crew for the open call).

Actually I think this IS worth submitting. What I'd do is focus more on the various broods that are implementing this. (Also make sure it can only be used on humaniod and monstrous humaniods.)

What you do is give them special abilities related to each brood. A general Slitheren, give them this as a base, but you can go with White Wraith (increase their natural armor by +2, give them +5 to Hide checks among undead, etc), Red Witches (Gains Spell Focus: Illusion, or Spell Focus: Necromancy as a Free feat) Etc. I'd do this Graf. But it's your idea.

(btw my dogs don't know crap about the Scarred Lands! I think I need those Blood Bands... )

[edit: either way I've got one idea that won't let go of me that's tangential to this... its not good enough right now but I think it'll age into something better by december.]
