Slaves of the Dragon (orsal judging)

Opale continues in Elvish [SBLOCK]"In there sleep would have been easy, but the spell will wear off before they sleep, in condition they want to rest with us. Anyone have suggestion?"[/SBLOCK]

Katherinesays quietly in elvish, then repeats in dwarvish.
[sblock]"They were promised their lives, and I would prefer to keep that promise if they do not break faith with us. They were not promised their freedom. I say we bind them and send them back to the nearest city with our new friend and the wagon. We can continue on with the horses."[/sblock]

Quarion Holimion, Elven Druid

As has become tradition when speaking of the kobolds, Quarion spits. "This would all be so much easier if we had just killed them to begin with. They are not worthy of their lives. But the girl is right, we cannot break our word now. I fear sending them back with Jakub to the nearest town, though. If even one of the accursed creatures were to break free, Jakub's own life would be in peril. Also, the last town was no more than a tiny hamlet. What are they to do when a man and a dozen scaly fiends in captivity show up?"

Planus makes eye contact with Quarion.
Elven:
[SBLOCK]Quarion is right. We offerred them surrender because we had no proof they were the enemy. Did the interrogations reveal them as enemies of freedom and the good people of Grenton? If so, they should be destroyed as vermin. We gave them a chance. May Mongrel comfort their souls and instruct them better in the next life.[/SBLOCK]

Opales nods at Katherine. She says in Elven:

[SBLOCK]"I must confess I am more with Katherine idea. Killing them would be easier, but you are saying they are not worthy of there life. Why? Because they would kill us without much of a reason. Killing them now would be the same thing as if they kill us. You want to be like them, go on Quarion. I won't stop you, but I don't like the idea. Killing is an easy answer as I said, but not sure it is the good one. Up to now, they only defend themselves, we have been the one to jump at their throat, and without a threat."[/SBLOCK]

She adds in dwarvish:

[SBLOCK]"I'm tellin to Quarion that I would prefer not to kill the kobold, but I won't stop him if he do so."[/SBLOCK]

Veras-Re speaks his opinion of the matter in Dwarvish. The dwarf sounds bored and anxious to get this over with.

[sblock]"I would rather just kill them and get it over with. However, Katherine's word is very important. I, myself, would dislike betraying my own promise. Furthermore, sending them to town would be a dangerous task.

I believe we should tie them up while they rest. Then we simply ask them to leave the Dragon's employ or die. We could slay those who maintained loyalty and grant freedom to those who agree to work with us.

Or we can bait them into attacking us and slay them."

Farid thinks and shakes his head,

Dwarven:[sblock]"This is just not a good situation. Likely, their superiors will wonder where they have gone. We have to move quickly, whether or not we kill them."[/sblock]

Veras-Re thinks upon Farid's words then finds another negative situation. He speaks in his native tongue. "If the Kobolds live, they will report our presence to their superior, as well as our strengths. Its best that they be slain and thus, their master be kept in the dark."

Opale tells to the group in Dwarven, then in Elven:

[SBLOCK]"One thing is sure, I don't want thm to report. And to have them suspicion because they doesn't come back, I have a way to set them a trap. Z'zess can report, or I should say I, disguise as Z'zess or any other of them, depending what we want to report to them. It is an idea, but to use in last resort. Kobolds are easy to fool, a dragon, maybe less. Anyway, I suggest to offer them a choice. They may do things we don't agree, but they are not that stupid. Even the anumals will prefer to eave their prey and live over death. If we offer them a chance to live, they will surely take it, and if not, we will be prepare, but the offer we will make them will to be bound or being surreder to some authorities. With Z'zess charmed, they might agree more easily to such offer too. Is that looks fine with everyone?"[/SBLOCK]

OOC: As far as we know, how far is the nearest town who could accept a group of kobold prisoner?
