Sleeping Imperium / Kenneth S Hood

The site is back up. My webmaster said there was a link problem, and it's all fixed.

Thanks for the reply to my e-mail last week on the double- Rifle BTW
You're welcome.

Why don't you keep posting at EN World?
Partly because I don't have that much free time lately. (I've started studying Juko-kai Tetsukenryu and Toide, plus I'm switching careers. I want to teach Jr. high school science or math.)

Partly because I've stopped using the d20 system. I figure folks would weary of me writing, "Fudge is awesome. You should play Fudge. Fudge is [insert factoid of Fudgey goodness]."

How about the message boards?
Nah. Those won't come back. They cost money and folks are not using them.

Also, any chance we'll see some more setting info?
Possibly, but it will not be in d20 rules. I've just about got a decent grip on Fudge. Once I feel extremely comfortable with the system, I'll start adding setting content.

Actually, I was hoping to see more setting information separate from the rules. Things like info on Imperium society and cultures. The boards had a bit of that information but I'd like to know more.

Once I get a new job settled out, I'll probably begin adding the setting info again.

I am working on a novel set in the Imperium. Whether or not I'll be able to get it published remains to be seen.

RPGhost are putting down their free services. I have (ahem) an account there myself and have been informed of this. Maybe it has something to do with that.

edit: DANG! There went my site. oh well, off to remove my sig.

ERRR! When did they tell you?!?!! On the mailing list? BAH! I tried to subscribe several times and just got an error message. I would write the webguy that I couldn't subscribe and he would give the same same info I had to subscribe that wasn't working! My site is GONE! Oh, well. Looks like I need to find another server.

Back to Ken Hood. I love your stuff. Grim and Gritty is revolutionary! I will probably be switching my game to CODA when the LOTR RPG comes out in June, so I know how you feel. I love d20 as a player, but just don't care to DM it anymore.
