Slews of Summon Stats!

Corsair

First Post
I'm about to play a druid summoner for the first time ever, and in an effort to prepare ahead of time and cut down on wasted game time, I figured I would stat out my summoned critters before play.

How do you the rest of you druids and conjurers keep track of your summoned monsters? Cut and paste a list from the SRD? Use critter cards? Are there any free downloads I could use to keep track of my Nature's Allies?

Someone has posted summon cards that we have used to great effect. It got to be a pain though when the summoner got the feat that improved all the creatures he summoned, but after a few hours we got the cards all updated and then it was smooth sailing.

As for Augment Summoning, the effects of it aren't *that* complex:
+2 to hit with melee attacks
+1, +2 or +3 damage with melee attacks (for secondary, primary, and singular attacks).
+2 grapple check
+2 hp per HD
+2 Fort save
+2 DC for Con-based special abilities

It might affect some skills too, but those are usually pretty irrelevant for summoned critters.

We use those statblocks - very handy! :)

Note that there are a number of summonable monsters that have Weapon Finesse. Their attack scores may not increase as a result of the Strength gain.

The Other Game Company, I believe, has summoned stat blocks. One of the mages in my game is a Conjuror and he uses them to good effect.

Adding feats and other bits is a bit more complicated but can be hanlded with a few notations.

I make my own from cut and pasting the SRD. I'm playing as an Alienist - so all the summons are Augmented and have the Pseudonatural template. Not sure anyone would have bothered to publish versions of these.

Found it really doesn't take long... So I'd do this for any sort of summoner I played.

I Rolled up a druid back-up character for my present campaign and took augment summoning as well. So I wrote up all the summoned animals with the Augment summoning. I basically cut and paste from an HTML SRD on line and then applied the augment summoning. The pain in the buttocks part was doing a second list with that and animal growth since he is high enough level to cast that as well. The list is slightly smaller since as the Summons grow in spell level you end up with less animals on them.

Non-epic pseudonatural is not OGC so 3rd party publishers can not publish those critters.
