Lois? Methinks that is a Freudian Slip there.

Nah, a Freudian slip would've been to say, "I'm bummed that Clark picked my mother and not Chloe."

Anyway, yeah, she's Lana Lang, not to be confused with Lois Lane. I've heard rumors (and forgive me if this is old news) that since Chloe and Lois both sound similar, that Chloe will go to Metropolis once she graduates, change her name a bit to sound more professional, probably dye her hair and change her look a bit, and join the Daily Planet.

So if they ever cancel Smallville (and replace it with Metropolis), there'd be a double secret, with Clark hiding his superman persona, and Chloe hiding her identity from Clark. That is, of course, unless Clark decides to look under her clothes with his X-ray vision, the perv.

LOL, that's cool RangerW. :D

Yes I gots the names confused. It happens.

You just reminded me of how much fun having x-ray vision could be to have. He does know Chloe has a birthmark on her 'cheek', after all. :D

I love this show, its like the coolest show on tv right now. Anyone heard the hopefully not true rumors that WB has cancelled the show, or is that just a spiteful rumor that should be squashed?<snip>

The WB continues to prominantly feature Smallville on their network website (www.thewb.com) -- something I doubt they would do if it wasn't already one of their big shows.

Also, it's firmly planted on the announced upcoming fall lineup:

http://www.thewb.com/Shows/Special/0,11116,113684,00.html

Wednesday 8pm: Smallville
Sunday 7pm: Smallville: Begginings

(the latter probably being repeats from previous episodes similar to what they are already doing)

Sooooo... probably just someone whose yanking your chain (so to speak ;) )

Having said all that, the producers did already firmly decide that they would end the show prior to Clark going to Metropolis. So it isn't a completely open-ended run ...
(I can find the link to that interview somewhere if someone's really interested).
