Sorry about the pic, K SIte, didn't have any, so, got it from CW.

So, the parts in the second and third season where Jorel demanded him to conquor the Earth are all being ignored now? Now he was sent to save Earth from itself.

Maybe Jor-El was testing Clark to see if his power had corrupted him and turned him mad with power. He doesn't conquer the earth so his a good little boy, now proceed with his full training.

There were some distinct aspects of those seasons that didn't seem like tests. The girl who Jor-El took and then sent back brainwashed into thinking she was a kryptonian and Clark's teacher? Not so happy.

I do however think that Jor-El's morality might have a bit of a different base than that of the audience. Not only is Clark his only son, but he is the last vestige of his people. Kill a few humans to push him in th right direction? That's cool. Plenty left.

Except there is no evidence that that is the case.

Still, good episode. Krypto girl died, and that's good becasue her Jor-el can do no wrong attitude was annoying. And the brainiac power source is gone. Two good outcomes.

Did the city shot opening the scene with Lana meeting the scientist look like the Narrows from Batman Begins to anyone? I think it was still suppose to be Metropolis, but it sure looked like the latest incarnation of Gotham (which was also mentioned in last week's ep.)

OK episode but not my favorite by far. I hated bow wow as the villian. THey hsould have picked a somewhat decent... who am i kidding... an actor for that part. Didnt make since that this alien being spoke fluent hip hop even when talking about Kryptonian affairs and then would switch to krytoponian lingo in the same sentence.

And why don't supervillians aim at the feet?

I'm not too much digging next episode. Green Arrow shoots up and becomes evil. Is he using Bane syrum? Is Supes the only good superhero in the world?

One of my issues, this is one of those that would have been better if it tok place in the zone. Clark could have had a greater relationship with the girl, it could also have been used to explain why the zoners want Clark dead!

Yeah, that bugged the heck out of me, too.

I presumed that meant that they are going to combine this Green Arrow with some of Speedy's comic history (Speedy, Green Arrow's former sidekick - now called Arsenal of all things - was once a heroin addict in a blatant anti-drugs pitch)
