How's this: at one end of the water production is the decanter of endless water, while at the waste end is a sphere of annihilation.

Alternately is that the water goes through the previous aforementioned "pool of water purification" then can flow out a cave opening as a tall waterfall falling so far as to turn into a mist. The air can be sent to lower caves through a gust of wind or something to chamber with crops being grown in rooms with permanent light sources.

The gust of wind circulates the refreshed air once a day, not to mention blows dirt particals down to where the plants would need it.
