Sniper Rifles (Snipers in general)

If you eliminate double tap for snipers, they should get something else to compensate for it. Maybe a sniper version of point blank shot, or a sharp shooter feat, prerequisite dead aim (maybe precise shot, too), which gives you another damage die instead of the +2 bonus from dead aim from aiming (the same as double tap, but only with one bullet, usable on single shot bolt action rifles, and higher prereqs).

Not a whole die. A: That's too random. B: That can penalize them, and it still doesn't really represent the idea real well. I'd give them a sniper version of Point-Blank Shot that requires 1 full round of aiming, granting +2 on both damage and the attack roll. This does stack, but it requires a Concentration check (DC 15) to completely subordinate their reflexes to the task of sniping. A sniper is not trained for headshots, as impressive as those are. They use special ammo in some cases, and they shoot for the torso: bigger target. There's also plenty to damage in there, and someone with a ruptured liver, spleen, and lung isn't good for much, or for very long. I feel that the extra bonuses are better representative of the real feel of sniping, and they also give a really high benefit, by negating the effects of a range increment, in addition to everything else that happens with equipment, feats, and whatnot.

Sniper's Control
You can completely withdraw within your reflexes for further accuracy with a firearm.
Preq: Wis 13+, Dex 15+ , Point-Blank Shot, Far Shot, Dead Aim, Personal Firearms Proficiency, Weapon Focus (any sniper weapon [M-24, M-82, etc.] The term sniping weapon is defined by the GM)
Benefit: After a full round of aiming (that does count towards other benefits requiring such an effort), you may make a Concentration check at a DC of 15 to add an additional +2 to both attack and damage rolls. This does stack with other bonuses (at the GM's discretion, be reasonable).
Special: If you possess at least 2 ranks in Concentration, and are not under direct threat of enemy fire while aiming (return fire does _not_ count for threat of enemy fire), you may take 10 on this check. (Real-World Explanation: The ranks in Concentration are important because of the absolute focus needed to coordinate such actions).

Opinions? (This is a scratched together feat. I'm just looking for 'is the idea sound' stuff)
