Snow Blower Engine Help Needed. Please and Thank You. (EDIT: HAPPY ENDING)

Did you use the correct mixture for the gas (some of the snow blowers need an gas/oil mixture, instead of straight gas)? That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Fickle, you know I have no idea about any mixtures. However, IIRC, the gas tank cap on it says "gas only" on it.

EDIT:
Found the Users Guide online at Arien's webpage. It doesn't have that oil/gas thing I guess according to the document. So I am okay there.

Probably at most a few months. Had gotten it in the later half of summer for the lawnmower.

I'd give fresh gas a shot. My lawnmower is never happy without fresh gasoline.

Well, I just went out to try it "one last time" and after a few attempts, it started. (Yay us!)

I don't know if this had anything to do with it, but I had tipped it up onto its "mouth" (so the handles were sticking UP in the air)so that I could read the serial number and such on it and had left it like that. Just odd.

Anyways, I got it started, went out and got the rest of the driveway. Noticed that a young kid had been ordered out to do his driveway (there'd been a buildup from blowing and plow truck spill off) and I then went and helped him out some to share the joy and then went to do my sidewalk...

...where upon it ran out of gas about 4' shy of being done.

Oh well. What you gonna do, right?

So, a big thanks to everyone for helping out.

Glad to hear that our good karma and wild guesses helped, and that you were able to get the machine running...(it's scary how that sort of thing happens, I've had similar experiences with cars - not tipping them up on end, of course)
