So how many monsters have threatening reach?

One of the things about 4e that's different is monsters have to have the old threatening reach feat in order to make the AoO.

In a quick glance though, I didn't see any with it.

Which ones have it and have you houseruled others to have it?

Or am I just reading that whole thing wrong?

Doing a quick search on the Compendium gives me 48 creatures with threatening reach.

This includes RPGA and adventures.

If you cut down to just rulebooks, there are 17 creatures that have threatening reach.

Glad to see I'm not completely blind. I was like... No reach on the troll? No reach on the ogre? But see that I missed the war troll.

One can never be too sure. Why don't you try getting close to all of them and get back to us on that? (The feral trolls want me to reassure you that their reach is safe and you should try them first.)
