So how much does WotC get out of you per year?

How much Wizards stuff do you buy?

I'm usually somewhere between $450 and $750 per year from Wizards. That's 1 to 1 and a half books per month. I don't buy minis or D&D novels.

I probably spend about another $250 to $450 per year on non-Wizards gaming materials.

I put under 50 since I tend to get most of mine as gifts, people don't know what to buy me so they go to the D&D section of the bookstore and pick something up. Otherwise it is close to 100

probably about $300, but that counts minis which I am done buying in boosters now. I'm only buying the ones I really, really want now as singles so that number should go down...

Since the switch to 3.5, I've purchased one WotC product: Red Hand of Doom. My RPG money has been going to companies like Necromancer Games, Troll Lord Games, Goodman Games, Expeditious Retreat Press, Ronin Arts, and Pied Piper Publishing.

As a yearly average since the release of 3.0e, I'd say in the $200-$500 range. I bought four (4) WotC books last year, though, so I'd say just barely into the $100-$200 range for 2006.

I voted $500-$1000.

I recently got into D&D minis so that bumped my figure up a bit. Going forward I imagine my spending will remain around this amount though. There are still quite a few books that I want to get (Complete Warrior, Arcane and Adventurer for a start) and I'm hooked on the plasticrack now!

I have seen a WHOLE lot of folks saying this recently, myself included. Are we collectively getting fed up with the endless stream of miniatures from Wizards? Some good quality, some absolute overpriced crap?
