So, I'm changing my company name

I've heard from a number of people (on forums, emails and in phone conversations) that have confused our two companies because our names are so similar.

There are three alternate options I will throw into the hat.

1) Just shorten your company name to RDP (or just go by that from now on). This has done wonders for Kentucky Fried Chicken, as it is trying to get away from the "fried food" perception

2) Create a nice slogan. Whenever I signed off with my name I wrote "The Le Games - We Enhance Worlds"... this worked very well for me.

3) Change the spelling a bit. How about "Realitee Deviant?" It seems silly, but that one small change would really end a lot of confusion.

I think your customers are better served by keeping the same name, but I support you if you still plan on going through with the name change.

I think its a compliment and an accomplishment to have a respected name. In your shoes, I'd keep it. Of course you da boss and you should be happy.


Why don't you move Reality Deviant to a product line - perhaps setting specific?
