So is the OGL alive?

First Post
I spent this afternoon try to find out what will happen to the OGL and d20 3.x SRD ....

WHat is definitive, is that the d20 STL will run out in 6 months. WIll that mean that the 3.5 SRD is no longer avaible, too? Or will it no longer be called d20? or is all that will happen that I cant use some stupid marketing logo?

As for the OGL, will it be withdrawn? I read a lot about OGL outliving GSL, but that seems to be pure conjecture? And how and one put 3.5 material on the website withou the OGL? I also heard the OGL might be extended for Pazio to Publish Pathfinder, but will that mean we find the SRD on Pazios Website?

Well enough questions for now, I hope there are some definitive awnsers. From What i read, the 3.5DRD and OGL will be here for good, but but that seems to be just my own interpretaion and I am unsure its just wishful thinking....

The d20 STL is gone and so is the logo that you got to use. The 6 months is to sell off back stock from what I understood.

The OGL cannot be withdrawn as it is a license that cannot be revoked, though it is no longer available on the WoTC website, at least I could not find it. You can find the license and the 3.5 SRD at www.d20srd.org.

In fact, I was worried that sites like d20srd might go away.

I was planning on making variant/optional rules for 4E, but as soon as I read the GSL, that plan went down the drain. :1: :1:

So now I am back to the 3E drawing board, so maybe i will want to put some homegrown variant on my website, so I need the SRD3.5 and OGL to stay.

Now I am positive i can do it without getting any legal trouble.
