So, Jade Rabbits?

Yeah, I get why a cave is useful. It was where the methane comes in I wasn't understanding.

Methane is a volatile, the same as ammonia. You can make tons of stuff out of it, such as fertilizer, and every ounce of something useful like that which you don't have to lift out of the gravity well is like found gold.

Lots of people online bemoaning the fact that China has a rover on the moon while America hasn't had one for nearly 40 years.

Am I missing something? The US has rovers on *Mars*. So did the UK, and India will have soon. Mars!

People are bitter about NASA's funding cuts. US astronauts have to hitchhike to the space station. Srsly bums some peeps out so they take any news like this as news of defeat.

. . . . . and every ounce of something useful like that which you don't have to lift out of the gravity well is like found gold.
Just like when oil in Texas use to pool at the surface, then it was found to be plentiful within 100 feet. Same with California and its tar pits and oil fields. Black gold it was called.

So China's exploring lava tubes and mining minerals and we have nothing?

Are you telling me there's gonna be a mine-shaft gap?

Hopefully the Russians on the dark side of the moon will keep them busy enough for us to catch up.

NASA is watching you, in space!
