So, what 3rd party products are officially coming out?

Whizbang Dustyboots

Gnometown Hero
I know that Goodman Games has DCC modules on the way, starting with a gazetteer on Free RPG Day.

Necromancer Games has gone silent.

Green Ronin is still waiting to see the final GSL on June 6.

Paizo has chosen the other road in the OGL fork.

Any word about anyone else officially jumping on board with 4E? Any officially announced products and -- better yet -- dates?

I wouldn't say that Necromancer has gone silent. They have the APG, ToH, Tegel Manor, Winter's Tomb, and the Iron Tower AP coming out.

Necromancer joined up with Paizo; they're putting out 0-level classes and "Fell" versions of monsters to put the save-or-die back in.

Once I see the GSL, I can decide whether to go forward with a 4th Edition update of Secrets of Pact Magic (www.pactmagic.com ) and its upcoming 3.5 supplement Villains of Pact Magic. Both books were written with conversation to 4th Edition in mind (for example, the binder-type classes are each focused by role, and I've already broken down the prestige classes into class build options and higher tiered stuff).
Likely I'll face two challenges:
-- The either-or stipulation in the GSL (either 3.5 or 4th edition but noth both, assuming that's how it works). Some customers have expressed frustration that they'll be left behind.
-- Making sure that the quality is as high as been commented by the very happy readers of the current version. This will require that I enjoy playing 4th edition and totally absorb it.

A conversation to 4th edition would not come until immediately after PaizoCon next spring.

BTW: For folks who keep asking about IP, please visit the website home page to see why pact magic is mostly public domain.

For values of "silent" that equal "shouting your head off," maybe. ;)

Seriously, Necromancer's already announced something like four or five products that they're planning to do. Including the Advanced Player's Guide, which will include PC-centric gnomes. (I mention this purely for your benefit. ;))

Hey Ari:
Are the Shire Hobbits, um, Halflings still in the APG? What about the non-shifter Druids?

IMO, the APG is turning out to be the 4th corebook. ;)
