So, what comes out next for figures?

The Large Green Dragon I have heard of but that is all. Anything else heard of? Rumors?

I want to say the next set has Dungeon in the title also.

This site here is where you want to look if you are after spoilers for D&D minis.

Apart from the minis listed in the new starter set, the Beholder and Minotaur are really the only minis that I have heard of. Artwork for both of them appears on a box of the Dungeons of Dread boosters so say there is a fair chance both of them will be in the new set. The next set isn't due out until April though so we are still a fair way away from release.

Personally, I hope to see a Vrock, Rust Monster, Cockatrice, Stone Golem, Annis Hag, Hydra, Uncommon Locathah, Uncommon Large Spider, Uncommon Fire and Frost Giant, Uncommon Bearded Devil, Uncommon Hell Hound, Uncommon Stirge, all the Mephits that are yet to be done, Common Lemure, Common Dretch.

Yes, a lot of them may be repeats but most of the minis I listed are 10+ sets old and are either hard to get, expensive and/or poorly sculpted/poorly painted due to being a very early mini. An update, a la the Umber Hulk, Manticore, Bone Devil, etc., wouldn't go astray.

An elemental weird mini would be pretty cool...

Or a crystal dragon...

Or a Tarrasque, hehehe... the $40 Bzillion " mini " ...

Would that be a proper green dragon or that ugly thing they're doing in 4e?

If it is the proper green dragon, I might get another D&D minis product after all, if only to complete the collection of big green ones. If it's the new green, they can keep it along with all the other stuff.

It's almost certainly the 4ed green dragon. However, it comes as part of the starter set - not sure if it will be repeated as part of Dungeons of Dread.

Ah. That one.

I knew about that one, but I read that "Large" as "quite big" and not "between medium and huge".

Wow. 100% agreement on my part here. These would be great.

As far as I know, the minis in the starter set will not be part of the Dungeons of Dread set. In other words, the only way to get these minis is to buy a starter set. The starter set will also be totally non-randomised minis (for the very first time) and be in clear plastic so you can see exactly what the minis look like before you buy them.

That would be nice and still a strong move on WoTC side. Skirmish players will want it for the new rules and figures. RPG players will want it for the figures and possibly become hooked on the game.

By using the same figures within each set, it will make teaching the rules easier.

Kudos to WoTC.
