I love it. I got in line behind the HUGE majority that voted 3+ points for it. I gave it 4.5 and rounded up to 5.
3.5 rocks, it made life and D&D alot more fun for me and my players. We got what we wanted so bad.
Now if they only would finally nerf M's Disjunction...I hate that spell.

I voted 4 because no matter how much I like the revised system it still has it's flaws. The one flaw that irks me most is that I no longer can use the online npc/treasure generators that saved me tons of time and added lots of interesting goodies to my game. The editing errors and the new weapons table are a close second.

I voted 5. It's really 4.75 but I rounded up. My only real complaints were the buff spells(though I prefer 1 minute to 1 hour), the monk/paladin multiclass restriction, and greater spell focus should have been a +2(though spell focus +1 was fine with me)

I think the R&D folks did a great job. There are a few things I don't like (weapon sizes, sleep became a full round spell) bu to each his own.

Now the Editing folks are a bunch of &&%%^^$#@@@###@#@@#%^&%$. Even if the books were rushed out and they didn't have the time to edit properly, most of the errors are unacceptable.

When are companies going to learn "QUALITY" should be the #1 priority.

I gave it a 4/5, almost a 5/5. I like all the changes to the classes, most of the spells (harm!), re-adjusting magic item values and a more useable MM. The only things I don't really care for (mostly nitpicky) are the new crit range rules, vorpals and weapon sizes.

The only bad thing is you know 4.0 is already on the horizon. I wouldn't be suprised if R&D is already working on it. Because 3.0/3.5 has become a bigger bloated pig than 2e ever was. "Well, we (WOTC R&D) thought that we needed to collapse down the system again, I'm mean we have about 1,000 prestige classes, 200 core classes, 5,000 feats." "It was just to much confusion for the new player, we needed a new baseline, re-tool the d20 rules and kill a few more sacred cows." "But trust us on this one, you guys and gals are going to love 4.0!" "We got this sweet new treasure + power up + class features card system which are sold in random packs for maxium collectablity, arch-prestige classes..."

I concur. I voted zero, only because "biggest piece of crap I've ever seen" wasn't a choice.

3.5 made me seek a new game system entirely.

YOU GUYS ALL SUCK!!! I'M TAKING MY STUFF AND GOING HOME!!!!

I mean, does the existence of 3.5 somehow make your 3.0 books disappear? Did the rpg police kick down your door and confiscate your obsolete material?

Exactly. When the game is no longer fun, it isn't a game any longer. There are six of us in my group and none of us has found a SINGLE change we agree with. Now, maybe we're all idiots, but in any case, that's 6 customers they lost, not because they produced a flawed product, but a completely USELESS product. Since we're not gonna be using 3.5 and every supplement to be published will BE 3.5, we are taking our ball and going home.

No but since our group is 3 vs 1 for 3.5 with 3 more who don't care I am forced to play this @#$%^ system. There are no 3.5 police, just my friends who are forcing me to play 3.5 or go home and not play at all. At least I can choose to not buy any 3.5 products and just use the SRD. I await the end of the campaign and the start of HERO system for us. Hopefully enough people don't buy into thier marketing scheme to make hasbro sell the brand.

My group is almost 8 to 2 for 3.5 vs 3.0. Our two 3.0 persons are using the 3.5 SRD also. I can understand thier complaints, but IMHO class/spell balence is such much better in 3.5 vs 3.0 that the game itself becomes better.
