Let's keep it civil. Jenkin's got his right to his opinion, just as you have yours. But telling someone they are stupid doesn't make 3E revised any more or less than what it is.

That is laughable. Did 3E make 7/7 people happy? Not a chance. Go and ask people at Dragonsfoot what they feel about 3E.

Even for those who liked 3E, if given a choice between buying 3E or 3.5E (with no previous investment), which do you think they'd choose?

Right... And Windows ME was a much better operating system than its predecessors, because for about a year, that was the "choice" of most people buying new PCs.

Even if you weren't comparing a game that's being phased out to one that's being aggressively marketed, any disparity of sales can be easily explained by the many, many people stupid enough to think 3.5 is better than 3E just becasue 3.5 is a higher number. Hey, it works in just about every other branch of marketing...
