less than 1000 posts?
less than 100
less than 20 posts a day?
10?
5?
1?
1 a week?

been a member of the boards since January and has racked up 15 posts?

Anyone who reads the boards regularly but never posts is definately a lurker. Someone who posts only once or twice a month is almost a lurker.

Well I think you have to be someone who reads the boards regularly, but hardly ever, if ever at all, post anything.

For example, sometimes I can't get to the boards for maybe a week at a time, but everytime I'm at the boards I do post something, usually. And I don't consider myself a lurker.

But note, there's nothing wrong with being a lurker whatsoever. I "lurked" for about 8 months on this board and the WotC board before ever posting anything (although I neither post nor read those boards anymore anyway).

I don't think I was ever a lurker . . . I joined the boards less than a week after I knew they existed, and have been averaging at least 5 or so a day since I joined mid-last month.
