Hey, Lego's aren't from Hasbro. Boy are you in trouble.;) (of course if everything you listed had been from Hasbro, I, or someone else, would probably just accuse you of shilling for Hasbro, so I guess you just can't win.:p;))

Six year old's don't really understand "increasing shareholder value" and they want what they want. I do try an buy Hasbro stuff but sometimes you just have to get what the kid wants so I try and buy from companies that make quality stuff. I can't stand all the cheap toys from no name companies out there, that break after a day. Henry is still playing with my Legos and Kenner action figures from 30 years ago, that is quality.

Lego Star Wars is the video game (although he also got a play set), the money goes to Lucas, he's an important part of the Hasbro business as a major licensing partner, so I am just paying it forward :p

I am not giving anything, although I almost bought the core set for my sister. She will have to wait for her birthday.

Since I have all 4e books (of interest), my own wish-list is mostly old stuff that I used to own, but sold due to being stupid around an edition change, as well as a few 3e books that I never had but I hear great things about.

Complete thief handbook
Deities and Demigods
Faces of Evil: The Fiends
Faiths and Pantheons
Illithiad (2e)
Planeswalker's Handbook
Van Richten's Guide to vampires
Van Richten's Guide to werebeasts
Planescape box set 2e
Campaign Sourcebook and Catacomb Guide af Paul Jacquay's
Creative Campaigning
Dark Sun Campaign Setting
Oriental Adventures 1e
Oriental Adventures 3e
Cult of the Dragon
Sharn City of Towers
Beyond Countless Doorways
City of Brass

I'm not really giving anything (I guess I'm just a scrooge:blush:).

The players in my group basically just use my collection of books (I've got multiple copies of 3.5E PHB's).

My other friends that are scattered around the world, pretty much have everything they want anyways.

For myself, I have a DDI subscription on my Christmas list. (We'll see what my Wife thinks)

The summed up "feel" of this new history is for it to be a new world where people of great will and fortitude will rebuild nations and the world, much like 250 years ago when the world was being explored and settled. Just this time it will be exploring apocolyptic remains of fallen nations and rebuilding from what can be salvaged and rebuilt.

I'll be reading through the mechanics for the next few days.
Sounds intriguing. I've been eye-ing both Twilight 2013 and the [ame=http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1440418276?ie=UTF8&tag=isegoria-20&link_code=as3&camp=211189&creative=373489&creativeASIN=1440418276]Aftermath! Survival Guide[/ame].

Getting a Deluxe PHB and some "cthulhu" dice from q-workshop. Will probably buy Manual of the Planes from my FLGS tomorrow if it's in stock there. Other than that, would love to get a beholder mini (my old Ral partha one has fallen apart!).

I was lazy this year and just got my gaming group gift cards. u_u

Gaming stuff on my own wish list this year:

  • Talisman upgrade kit
  • Baron Munchausen (I can’t really see myself playing it, but it seems too good not to have.)
  • Aces & Eights
  • Dragon Warriors
  • Munchkin Quest
  • Hero System Sidekick
  • BRP
  • Labyrinth Lord
  • Customizable landscape GM screen
  • Mongoose Traveller
  • Hobby Games: the best 100

I’ll probably use any cash I get to pick up some stuff off of Lulu that I’ve been meaning to order.

I *just* placed my order so I can finally post here.

I bought 3 Star Wars Saga core rulebooks for 3 of my friends.

Of course, perhaps it's somewhat selfish on my part, because I anticipate getting them to start a group B-)

Got some nice stuff

The group I DM stepped up for me in a real nice way. In addition to Manual of the Planes, one of them thought I might like a new briefcase. Boy was he excited when I causally mentioned it a couple weeks ago. So they all chipped in and got me the Bag of Holding from thinkgeek: ThinkGeek :: The Bag of Holding Messenger Bag
