So What Threads do you miss?

Well, my account (TaintedPsion) got zapped, so I created a new one. I'm not sure how this is going to work, but...

I just kinda miss the sense of community. I liked the feeling of being in touch with a whole network of players like me.

The loss is permanent. And while it may be hard to believe, we moderators and admins are even more upset than you are.

But get your butt to google and google this site + the threads you miss. you may be able to save part or all of PbP threads, story hours, Gygax Q&A... at least give it a try. It might help.

After the hack that knocked down several gaming sites (including this one) in February, I started collecting the e-mail addresses of ENWorlders I talk to regularly. It helped to reduce the withdrall :heh:

PbP games AND plenty of House Rules threads with great creative material. (And PrCs...and Feats...)
+Nifft's Binder stuff

The great thread that appeared asking for "effects of enhanced greed"

"Low prep D&D with flags, kickers, and..."

"Favourite combat tactics"

What do you mean by the "download thread" button?

I miss the PbPs. I had 2 games that were really cooking. But .. the good news is that the loss is only on the internet. Being the DM, I can reconstruct snapshots and keep moving in the game. Tis merely a speedbump, really.

Unless you are one of those players who documents everything because everything must match up. But typically I say that our memories aren't always perfect ... so a thing like this makes the character's memories not always perfect, too!

Oh - and anyone looking for a Story Hour (or missing the loss of a favorite) I have restored my Story Hour to its entirety. (lost posts with readers comments, though) There's about 30,000 words waiting to be read for someone in the mood for a (hopefully) good Story Hour. Just check my sig for the link.
