So... who else has bought the new WFRP?

I lucked into a free copy and have been impressed with my first read-through of the rules.

Way back in the day, I quit playing AD&D for several years to play WFRP, WFB and WH40K. Those are some of my fondest gaming memories. WFRP is probably my favorite gaming system, so I'm glad to see the second edition look so good.

I've been contemplating getting it since even before it came out. Found it at my local game store and looked through it and decided to definately get it.

But I did buy it off Amazon.com. By doing that and choosing the free shipping choice, I was able to get the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay core book AND the WFRP Character Pack for about five dollars less than I could get just the core book at my local game store.

After the Bestiary and the Grimore this may bump d20. Its that good on my opinion. I would still run the adventures in the Forgotten Realms or Wilderlands as my house rules push it more into the WHFRP realm. If it turns out to be good enough to become my major gaming system, then I may gut my d20 library to the bare essentials. We will see.

Aaron.

Friend of mine got it and was telling me me about it. I have the old 1st edition book and will probably pick up this one next month when my gaming budget gets replenished :)

No hanger on's for the nobel. Man those 2 guys slowed down the skaven and gave me enough time to escape.

"I say, Percy, isn't that Lady von Bittelsberg over there!"
"Where, where!"
[run, run, run]
"That's not Lady von Bittelsberg, milord, it looks more like...a hungry ... ah... AHHH!"
"[run, run] Oh, sorry, my mistake! [run, run]"
