I am at work, and my wife just called and she bought them for me. So, she has them in hand. Which is great because after work today we are headed out to a weeks vacation at the beach, and this will be prime kick back and read time.

Yeah me (and oh Yeah her, for buying them).

I had a pre-order at my FLGS, just a penny more than amazon.
Picked up my books during lunch (no shipping!) and had to fight my wife for them. She's commanded me to buy her some new dice tonight.

Got mine last night! A buddy and I picked up ours at a Midnight Release party. It was pretty fun -- free pizza and soda. And we got to play in a demo adventure where we got to keep the mini!

I picked up my gift set + one PHB today. Also got a free set of dice, a 'official' D&D battlemat and 4 MacFarlane Dragons at 1/2 price. It was $10 more than Amazon charged (for the gift set) but considering Amazon isn't running any WWD&DD events around here they can **** it as far as I'm concerned. FLGS 4 life.

Late last night I got the slipcase. Wow, nice books I must say. Trying to absorb what I can before the D&D day dmeo I'm running tomorrow.

I got 'em! And they are lovely.
In fact I am sure I had the first 'legal' (after release date) purchase in the WHOLE WORLD! NZ sees the day first and I got it from my FLGS at 0900, so unless someone in NZ got an early open (none did AFAIK) I was the first legal pruchase w00t!

I was disappointed by the lack of fluff in the MM but the new DDI article on Yenoghu shows a lot of promise
