I don't remember what initially brought me here, but I stayed because it seemed like this board was populated by a higher percentage of mature individuals than the Wizards boards. There are fewer anime-crazed kids here asking how to simulate their favorite badly-animated, spiky-haired, overcompensating-with-outlandishly-sized-swords heroes here.

The heavy-handed and arbitrary moderation here is the only thing that keeps this place from perfection...

Gee, a poster who intentionally insults every adult fan of anime finds the moderation here to be heavy-handed and arbitrary?! How could this be?!?!?

I started reading ENWorld when it was still just rumors about the upcoming third edition. Then, I migrated more or less exclusively to Nutkinland/Nothingland during one of the outages, stayed there, and didn't come back to ENWorld very much for a while.

I don't think I posted for a long time after that, and didn't post much at all until ENWorld became one of two gaming forums which isn't blocked at work. And... it's much better than I expected. It's a fun site.
