So you want to know how its going...

Not to say that this is the way that they're doing it. But in the proposal assessment world (from my experience), this is how it works-

The first cut is to determine if submittals are in accordance with the published rules. This occurs before ANY reading takes place and generally eliminates 25%.

The second cut involves a gloss-over read. Submittals are then placed in one of three piles- YES, NO, or MAYBE. The "NO" pile is round filed. This phase generally eliminates another 50%.

The remaining have to be read seriously and of these, about 10% make it to a final deliberated assessment process (which, in this case, will result in ten).

This is not to say that the process at WOTC operates in this fashion but it gives you an idea as to how an assessment process can work.

Yes, I know I have no life.

I just have this uncontrollable urge to make fun of poor grammar, misspelled words, and other obvious errors.

First off, seriously, thanks AV for the update.

Secondly, I have to say - if it were not for the constraints of time and sanity - I really think that reading those things would be very interesting. Seeing both ends of the spectrum (creativity and crap!). I say this in all seriousness; I just think it would be interesting to be able to read all that. Of course, the contingent being "if it were not for the constraints..."

:D

Folks,

Just to let you know how the setting search is going.

Well we have our admin and intern doing nothing all day but slitting envelopes.

So this means you'll be done early? ;)

Just kidding! (Please don't hurt me.)
