I reloaded and tried the cliff tactic. Worked great at first but then they pushed me off the cliff. So I repositioned at bottom of cliff making many of the thug's have to go around the long way to get to me (blocked the climbing paths down). Still lost the battle, but almost beat it. Fairly certain calm emotions would turn the encounter into a cakewalk.

It's almost a requirement in Solasta to have someone that can cast identify.

As of last patch you can buy wands of identify at common vendors.

Yea. They still not very cheap though.
