Sole Survivor, whats the best magic item to have?

Any item that grants fast healing so you can complete the adventure on your own. With healing taken care of you can do hit and runs and hide to heal yourself.

Although not in 3e, the ring of vampiric regeneration. Put it on a great warrior, sit back, and watch the show. I ruined many dungeons when DMs let my character in with this one little ring.

A +5 Keen Vorpal Cursed Sword of Beserking... it's not like you have buddies you need to worry about anymore!

EDIT: If you're gonna have Vorpal, might as well Keen it too...
