Some feat ideas needing evaluation

Just bouncing some ideas around. How do you feel about these feats?

Cantrip Specialist [General]
Prerequisites: Ability to cast arcane spells, Knowledge (arcana) 4 ranks.
Benefit: You can cast two additional 0-level spells per day.
Special: You may take this feat multiple times. Each time you take the feat, it applies to a new arcane spellcasting class.

Orison Chanter [General]
Prerequisites: Ability to cast divine spells, Knowledge (religion) 4 ranks.
Benefit: You can cast two additional 0-level spells per day.
Special: You may take this feat multiple times. Each time you take the feat, it applies to a new divine spellcasting class.

Spell Sniper [General]
Benefit: Add 4 to your caster level when determining the range of any spell which requires a ranged touch attack.

Hurricane Slash [Psionic]
Prerequisites: Str 13, Psionic Weapon, base attack bonus +5.
Benefit: After making a successful melee attack, you may expend your psionic focus to immediately make a trip attempt against the same target. Making a trip attempt in this way does not provoke an attack of opportunity and the defender may not attempt to trip you.

2 cantrips for a feat feels a little overcosted. Here are two feats i allow...

Mage in Training[General]
Prerequisites: Knowledge (arcana) 2 ranks.
Benefit: You have 4 0-level spell slots per day per day as a wizard.
Special: If taken at character creation, the character starts with notes and loose spellbook pages for 4 cantrips.

Altar child[General]
Prerequisites: Chosen a personal deity, Knowledge (religion) 2 ranks.
Benefit: You have 4 0-level spell slots per day per day as a cleric.
Special: You must follow the same rules clerics do to be able to prepare and recieve spells.

One thing, I do limit how much sneak attack damage can be applied to touch attacks so YMMV. {Damage with sneak on a touch attack cannot go any higher than max possible on a critical hit [ray of frost~6, alchemist fire~12, scorching ray~42]

Very nice. I rather like these as an alternative to the spell-like ability feats in Complete Arcane (Necropolis Born, Soul of the North, etc). Thanks for posting!

edit - I am assuming that those feats imply caster level 1st. If the character has (or later gains) cleric/wizard levels, would you allow them to use that caster level instead?

Oh, mine are weaker than those since each one of those has a 1st level spell tossed in IIRC. Mine are more flexible.

Caster level 1 or use cleric/wizard level instead.

Oh yeah, any PRCs I allow require roleplaying and ordeal based entry, rather than X feat, +N BAB, and Y ranks in a skill.

Sneak passed some mid level guards, negotiate with a beared devil and then sunder his weapon in ritual combat is the example Unearthed arcana gave for Blackguard.

I'd let someone go into Dwarven Defender without the prerequirements, though the ordeal will be such that they are going to wish they had stability, a racial con boost, toughness and the body frame to fit into the ceremonial dwarven armor one has to wear for the trial.

Good, but I personaly think it should be three rather then two. From a DM's view.

Same as above.

Make it a meta that uses the same spell slot and add a Preq of any other Meta magic.

Ok.

This is from a DM's point of view, or course.
