I think internet explorer should be updated to be smart when it comes to erasing text you've entered.

I just typed a long email to someone, and, in my attempt to shift to a different window to check something, I accidentally hit refresh. There went my email.

How hard would it be to teach IE to pop up a little alert saying, "This will delete what you have typed. Are you sure you want to do that?"

Its a microsoft product. Do you really expect Microsoft to relase a product that doesn't have a thousands ways to annoy the user.

Just joking, although it sometimes does feel like this is true.

In the data processing business we have a few sayings:

Keep it simple.
You run what you brung.
To really screw up, it takes a computer.
