Something that hit me about Summon Nature's Ally

I was reading the rules about Banishing and Dismissing...and it struck me.

Those don't work on Summon Nature's Ally, do they? I mean, okay, it'd work on elementals and arrowhawks and xorn and so on...but not on animals or (my favorite) unicorns. Those are from THIS plane. Even summoned, they don't take on the Extraplanar subtype.

Is this right?

Definately not with Banishment as it is classified as a naural creature, not extraplaner, however it depends on what plane you are on. i.e. you are an extraplaner creature to Limbo.-i think. unless they mean subtypes. in which case you are right. I wish "natural creature" was defined. then this would be pretty clear cut. oh well, gave it my best guess.

You are generally correct, though as Ballard_Avar points out, if you're on another plane you (and the unicorn etc) become extraplanar.
