Songs for Danny

I am making a new version of an old character I played with for a new campaign: Danny the Elfman. A bard, of course.

The idea is that he sings hits when he casts his spells and even when he performs some actions. Like when he starts humming "Go, don't go, won't stay with me one more day. If we get through one more fight..." when healing. Or, for something more recent, "Thunder, feel the thunder, lightning then thunder" when casting a thunder effect.

So I welcome suggestions for other songs he could use or parody. Extra bonus if it's something by Danny Elfman (especially from the Oingo Boingo days), but not necessarily. Even Bonnie Tyler's "We Need a Hero" will do.

Legend
In 2e days we had a pair of clerics in a heavy undead campaign that would fist bump and sing MC Hammer, "Pray, just to make it today- Oh Yes we pray...".

A more recent bard in the Lost Mine campaign dedicated a song to the banshee Agatha. Something about being so ugly that he would have to wear a bag-atha.

Deaf Leopard's Pyromania has been used to cast fireball a few times. I also feel that Metallica's Ride the Lightning was used, but more for fire spells over lightning. For whom the Bells Toll was also used.

Just seen that Danny Elfman's most famous music is the Simpsons theme song.

Chat GPT created a parody of Stay:

I feel the dice, they're rolling so low
We're in a bind, surrounded by our foe
Our cleric's down, our fighter's nearly gone
But don't you fear, 'cause I'm the one you're counting on

Go, don't you go
Won't you stay with me one more day
If we get through one more fight
If we get through one more fight

Well, this one’s kind of obvious if he’s casting a protection spell:

Fighting a necromancer? Howzabout…

FWIW, knowing what kind of stuff you’d prefer Danny casting would help. (Edition wouldn’t hurt, either.)

Is Danny a “horny bard” trying to charm a monster for the evening?

Fell in love with a Grell
fell in love once and almost completely
It's in love with the world
but sometimes these feedings
can be so misleading
It turns and says "are you alright?"
I said "I must be fine cause my heart's still beating"
It says "come and see me in the Underdark, blgvtz says it's fine it don't consider it cheating"

Red blood from a gnoll
Ate a troll for the flavor
No eyes that I'm perceiving
can't keep away from the Grill
these two sides of my brain
need to have a meeting
can't think of anything to do
my left brain knows that
Its love is feeding
It's just looking for something new
and I said it once before
but it bears repeating

Original Danny was D&D... This new version will be for a PF2 campaign. Probably a maestro bard, but I still are keeping options open depending the rest of the party.

Let’s Slash

Let's slash
Put on your scabbard and dance their doom
Let's slash
To the song they're playin' on the drum and pipes
Let's slay
Wild carnage lights up your face
Let's slay
Slay through the crowd, make an empty space

If you should run
I'll run you through
But if you say hide
We'll hide
Because my faith in you
Would break my heart in two
If you should fall under their arms
And crumble like a flower

Let's slash
Let's slash
For fear your mace should fail
Let's slash
For fear tonight is all
Let's slay
You could look into my eyes
Let's slay
Under the moonlight, this bloodletting moonlight

If you should run
I'll run you through
But if you say hide
We'll hide
Because my faith in you
Would break my heart in two
If you should fall under their arms
And crumble like a flower

Let's slash
Put on your scabbard and dance their doom
Let's slay
Under the moonlight, this bloodletting moonlight
Let's slash
Let's slash, slash, slash
