BTW, the feat presented (Spell Surge) is a General feat, not a metamagical one (because it doesn't affect directly spells metamagicizing them).

Yea, some of them do seem a bit weak when compared to the others. Someone else also mentioned that. It's been a while since I looked at it because I have taken a little Hiatus from D&D. When I get back into it again I'll probably change some bloodlines. I'm also waiting for 3.5 to come out befor I do a big revision.
