Sorcerer: want fiery burst-feat at 3rd Level

Is there a way to overcome the prerequisite of the feat "Fiery burst" (Complete Mage) which needs the ability to cast 2nd Level spells? A Wizard would have no problem at 3rd Level, but a Sorcerer must wait to Level 6 and this sucks :P

Isn't there a Feat somewhere which gives you a 2nd Level spell at first Level or so?

This leads to what I do for 1st level arcanists. Play Human/take Forlorn flaw (no familar) or both. Take precocious apprentice & fiery burst. Annihilate them all.

Precocious Apprentice: you have to be first level Arcana Caster with access to 1st Level spells

Fiery Burst: Able to cast 2nd Level (Fire) Spells

This one is really a strong combo, because it enables you to cast 2d6 5" Fire-Bursts all day long at FIRST Level (if you have two Feats)!

You seem to be ignoring that sidebar specificly says that feat is to be included only if the DM wants to add extra power to those who train underneath a more powerful master. Planning a powerplay with that feat is asking for disapointment.
