I have no idea what this sub-class's abilities would be, but I want to play it.
Generating the abilities could be a whole mini-game in itself. "Let's see, the Mishap involved (rolls) A Vat of Acid, (rolls) Raw Arcane Energy, (rolls) and Deer Ticks. Ok, roll a d20 and add your Constitution bonus...oh, wait, you were supposed to pick whether you wanted to be the Mad Scientist, the Unappreciated Assistant, the Unwilling Subject, or the Innocent Bystander."
