He did, apparently. I think I originally got the quote from grudge-match.com, who got it from an interview with him. Might be this.

I was lucky and snagged the only copy of Sorcery & Steam at my FLGS yesterday, although the owner gave me a heads up earlier this week, knowing I am a sucker for anything steam, gaslight, or Victorian. Having only looked briefly last night, I am very, very happy with it. Lots of material and very eclectic mix of tech or magic. I think it was a wise decision not to lock it into any one particular setting, it makes it infinitely more useful to me. So kudos Fantasy Flight and especially all of the design team and writers!

I haven't heard of Steel and Steam, is it? Can someone please tell me who's doing it and when it may be coming out? I'm like a kid in a candy store with all of the steampunk stuff in the last year or two coming out.

Steam & Steel: A Guide to Fantasy Steamworks is written by me, and to be published by EN Publishing. We're at the art call stage now, (or at least were last time I got an email from Hellhound) and I'm not sure how much longer it will take to get everything done before the final thing is available :) Hopefully not long though!

Carnifex, I'm a steam-age nut, as well. And now that I know that you're in Durham, that's just too cool :)

University is actually a good place for writing d20 products, I find (and of course some actual academic work too ;) ).
