SoulBlade - Justify his BAB

Thanks Eric. I particularly like the Carve, Deflect Ray and Absorb Ray.

Had you considered the possibility of Reflect ray (since we are being a bit Jedi here anyway?) It is obviously a step up from Deflect ray, perhaps a step up from absorb ray too... basically if you successfully deflect the ray you can attempt to make a ranged attack roll to reflect it back at its originator (assuming that it doesn't run out of range first)

Have you seen Races of Eberron? That has some nice SoulBlade feats (aimed at Kalashtar)

Soulblade warrior - manifests blade as a swift action, effective soulblade level counted as two higher for determining enhancement class feature, action points spent to improve roll to hit also affect roll for damage.

Spiritual Force - expend psionic focus to add your Cha bonus to damage for a 1 round

Kalashtar Thoughtshifter - tactical feat that isn't much good :)

Cheers

Yah. I was a bit underwhelmed by those feats. SoulBlade Warrior is a decent feat. Spirtual Force is garbage compare to Psychic Weapon, save that you can use it at range. And pretty much all of Racial Tactical feats are of dubious utility, except for Brute and Ragewild fighting.

I've not tried it, but I've been considering upping the BAB to fighter, and downing the hit die to d8, putting it more in line with the ranger.
