Yes. All my music is loaded on my music server/HTPC, and with the number of ID3 tags you can use you can sort it in a large number of ways. Further, creating playlists for different themes/moods is a snap (though time consuming at first during initial set-up). For example, we have (not an exhaustive list, BTW):Andor said:It ocurred to me the other day the solution might be to put all my music on my computer, and make up custom playlists by theme or mood. IE: Tense music, Chase music, battle music, etc..
So I was wondering has anyone else has tried this, and how did it work out?
- town music
- city music
- battle music
- boss battle music
- epic/army battle music
- chase music
- scary/horror theme
- sad music
- tense music
- festival music
- seafaring music
- cultural music (desert, medieval, barbarian, celtic, etc)
among others.
For us, it works freakin' awesome.
