This will re-write your planetary generation tables for ya... I love it. In a nutshell, this paper suggests that one-third of Hot Jupiter solar systems can form terrestrial, watery worlds in the "Goldilocks" or habitable zone of a sunlike star. All those HJ-type systems on page 33 are now ripe for the picking for you hard-scifi types. I'm using it in my OGL-Trek games. If the link dies, just request a copy. I've saved it. (Heck... I might frame it... it's so beautiful from the viewpoint of those who hunger for a universe filled with life!)
