I know that the Rust Monster from taken from a platic toy that Gary had (I had the same plastic figure). Was the Bullette likewise 'inspired' by an existing creature? I have a vauge recollection of it comeing from a dinosaur or godzilla movie, but it was so long ago...

Heh!

The owlbear came from a plastic toy, one of a bag of "monsters" that also inspired the bulette and rust monster.

Cheers,
Gary

I have one of said plastic toys at home (it's my s.o.'s), next to my much larger DDM bulette piece. Unfortunately, the rest of the set is long since lost...

This might be a silly question, but just what line of plastic toys were these? I've never heard or seen of such, although pocket monsters might come close . . . .
