SPA event track for Gen Con, call for submissions!

First Post
I've touched on this before, but I wanted to specifically let people know about this program well in advance of Gen Con, to give people a chance to plan and/or submit events.

Last year was the first year Gen Con ran a "SPA" program; desgined to be a track primarily to appeal to spouses who are strictly gamers, it was actually a great success among gamers and nongamers alike. Last year under this program, Gen Con ran a diverse variety of events, to include yoga, belly dancing classes, knitting and crochet classes, jewelry and cooking classes, karate classes, and a winery tour.

This year, Gen Con's hoping to make the SPA program even larger and better; with mroe events geared towards nongamers, as well as gamers. I'm helping Gen Con organize their SPA events this year; if you're interested in running a SPA event at Gen Con, or have any questions about it; please don't hesitate to contact me at marimacc@gmail.com. And please let you spouses/SO's know about the program. :)

Just letting people know there's still time and space for SPA events to be run; I'm still looking for crafty things such as card stamping and knitting, and more active things such as yoga and tai chi classes. And we're not limited to things that might appeal strictly to ladies either; we have some other events tenatatively planned that should appeal to everyone, including some kendo classes, and a geocaching event.

So please feel free to email me if you have any ideas you'd like to have for events!! Don't forget that event reg closes April 6th!

Bueller?

So ENWers, did anyone submit something?

The Gelflings and I are going to do some Irish dance demos & workshops on Thursday (the only free-ish time I have during the con).
