Spaceballs 2

Its been almost 10 year since his last movie, Dracula Dead and Loving it. He's almost 80 years old, I'm not sure Mel Brooks can do it anymore.

But it would be great. The best rumor (many years ago) for a Spaceballs sequal had this as the title:

Spaceballs 3: The Search for Spaceballs 2

I always thought that was clever.

That subtitle was already used in Star Trek Parodies. They'll need to get a new one. The original spaceballs was okay, but suffered (like most modern MB Stuff) from too much mugging for the camera in the way the jokes were played out.

It has been some time but what better way to go out?

Plus, it sounds the the wheels are already turning for it if the article is true.

I thought he was concentrating on the movie of the stage adaptation of the movie about bad stage shows...

Oh, and his musical rendition of Young Frankenstein (which, similarly, will probably turn into a movie of a stage show of a movie...)

**sigh**

I think he's run out of ideas.

As much as I love some of his movies, I have no interest in this. His last few efforts have been abyssmal. I won't even waste a Netflix slot on it.
