Wow... I had no idea it was prevalent enough for the BBC to try and explain it.

It's been around long enough that I hated it in High School, and I'm 35. First time I saw it, I was 16 (I think), and it was on a BBS, when I had only heard of ARPAnet.

As far as the topic, I made my will save (was only DC 5 for me). I will not be buying it, unless I find a used copy for the same price as the regular production PHB, in great condition.

Interesting. So this actually had a reason to exist once, and was wielded by an actual elite. Now it is absolutely useless crap used by people with an IQ below room temperature. (Worst thing is when someone actually says "lol" or "you noob" - the only reason people like that still live after they said it in my presence is my distaste for manual labour....)
