Oh, heck yeah. I got tons of counters from Fiery Dragon Press (and may be newly converted to their system), as well as a nice glossy book of Prestige Classes from someone -- I've not had a chance to flip through it yet. Thanks, vendors with goodies!

And although I got Magical Medieval Europe for free, that's because it was a birthday present. It's incredibly cool, as cool as everyone says it is -- check it out, everyone!

Persoanlly, I was a little suprised that Dee showed up since she was on crutches all weekend and I know it tired her out. The poor woman was on crutches for both Origins and Gen Con, here's hoping her knee finally heals.

i think everyone who came to the party got at least 3 prizes, it rocked hard...i did a very mediocre job of gathering prizes, then trschris showed up with samwitt and wife and fractalwave (what a cool, cool, cool lady!) and had a ton of swag. the list of thanking is long-

and my bubby opening p.s. orourkes for us. the staff loved you guys and gals so much, we talked about how great everyones behavior was all night, and how good you were to all the people who came in on their day off to show you folks a good time, next year there will be a shuttle back and forth from the con.

I'm very glad about this -- I was worried about the staff. When I left at 4 pm, there were only about twenty people in there, and it looked like there were two waitresses and a bartender on duty; I was thinking that not only were they working on their day off, but they were also going to be waiting on very few people (since folks were ordering a meal and staying for hours) and were therefore going to get stiffed on tips. Spider & I tipped like 40%, but I was still worried they'd go home poor and pissed. Glad to hear they had a good day!

the word from the staff was that it was nice to have polite and friendly people to serve and chat with. there was no regret on anyones part

archade gave the barteneders some canadian beer, it is illegal for them to serve it in the bar, since it wasn't purchased correctly, so it was part of their "tip"
