I put out a request for speed painting ideas at DeviantArt, and one of the requests was for a dark, cursed valley.
While this didn't precisely fit the instructions I wrote (I originally only wanted to paint stock images and other photo references), I figured I might try anyway. This is the result:

It took me 27 minutes to paint this.
Has anyone here done anything similar - i.e. attempted to create full art pieces in 60 minutes or less? And if so, what are your results?
