Spell: Crystal Shard??

One of my players (he's using a cleric) randomly generated a spell list using a free Excel character sheet he found on the Internet. It included a spell called Crystal Shard (from the BoFM??) that did 1d8+2 with no save. We used it as written but neither of us had actually seen thhis spell before (it helped save the other players).

Can anyone out there give specific details as to what this spell is and what it does??

Crystal Shard

I'm resonably certain that the spell Crystal Shard is from one of the Books of Hallowed Might produced by Malhavoc Press. It also appears in the Grimoire II supplement for Arcana Unearthed/Evolved. The spell doesn't allow a save because it requires a ranged attack roll to hit it's target, just as if the caster were using a ranged weapon.

Creates a crystal shard that flies from your finger like an arrow. Make a ranged attack roll, if you hit the shard inflicts 1d8+2 damage. After it hits (or, I presume, misses), it turns to powder.
