Spell Focus and (Sp)

Here's the setup.

Sorc 9 / Initiate of the 7-fold Veil 1 (CArc)
Spell Focus: Abjuration
Greater Spell Focus: Abjuration
Warding (Sp) at least, I think it's Spell-like...

The Warding ability says it is keyed off of Prismatic Wall, and so it makes this an Abjuration effect.

SPELL FOCUS [GENERAL]
Choose a school of magic.
Benefit: Add +1 to the Difficulty Class for all saving throws against spells from the school of magic you select.
Special: You can gain this feat multiple times. Its effects do not stack. Each time you take the feat, it applies to a new school of magic.

So, do SF (Abjuration) and GSF (Abjuration) increase the DC to resist the warding ability of the Iot7FV?

No.
Warding is a Spell-Like ability. It is not actually a spell.
The Spell Focus feats only work for spells. Other abilities, no matter how similar to spells they are, get no bonus.

However, you could use the Ability Focus feat to gain the DC bonus on a (Sp) ability.

I'll tell the guy that... It's just that there are so few Abjuration spells that force saving throws, so I can understand his frustration. Ah well. Ability Focus here he comes.

If it's not your PC, are you the DM?
You could always house rule that SF does apply to Warding, as a special case. I don't think it would be unbalancing, since as you point out, the feats are currently of limited applicability.
