Spell point system

That's not the whole truth... only damaging spells, that use dice for damage (like Fireball) do not scale and work in a similar way to psionic powers with the Augmentation (just a bit worse).

However, all other spells scale freely, without any cost beyond the base cost for the spell.

To make the balance a little better.

Wizards had to pay for scaling up the spells. 10 points for a 10d6 fireballs.

Sorcerers didn't: 5 points for a 10d6 fireball.

That still was not enough.
 

i would give sorcerers twice as much spell points as the wizard maybe even tripple. They get shafted SOOO bad for spontanius casting, and then spell points come around and hardly differ from the wizard and sorcerer.
 

The sorcerer seems to gain NOTHING under the spell point system.....they can cast any spell they know more times per day spontaneously already. It looks like this is some kind of huge oversight on wizard's part.
